f2 not getting fizzy/too sweet?

so my f2 has been bottled and fermenting for about a week and it’s still only lightly fizzy and relatively sweet still? i checked on it a couple days ago about 4 days in and compared to now it seems it hasn’t fermented since then. any ideas why this could be, did i put too much sugar in maybe? should i just leave it longer? thanks!!!
edit to add: i’ve been keeping all my brews in my basement and it is getting cooler where i live so maybe temps a factor?
