Something I'm really struggling with right now is whether or not I could be "plural"...
My therapist told me that I'm IFS earlier this year, but I've known about my parts since I was a kid. I just didn't have a way to identify it.
Most of the time, I feel I am "the self". Over the last couple of months, I feel an increasing desire to allow my parts to explore "living". In allowing them to have more control, and focus less on being "the self", does that mean that I'm plural? Or is it just me embracing that piece of my IFS system?
I see some resources saying IFS isn't plural and others say it can be. I'd appreciate people's perspectives on this.
