I know what you're thinking, but she was horrible that season, she made a ton of mistakes, argued with her team almost the entire time and only brought drama; and all of that is completely true.

But the problem is they already invested so much into her and Elise's storyline by that point; that they were essentially a package deal. He already eliminated Van ( a strong winner pick up to that point) to keep both of them. and it's very important that you keep BOTH of them, why? because they balance each other.

Yes Elise is rude and mean but Barbie is crazy and she wasn't having ANY of it, to have such a unique dynamic of an unmovable object meets an unstoppable force should be TV gold; but at that point the audience is already pissed that chef eliminated Van to keep them and the drama, so what should've happened?

What should've happened was Michelle goes home during Charity Night ( that way she leaves on a similar note to Van and is remembered more fondly than she is now..... also she should've gone home anyway for sabotaging more than half her team up until this point.)

Then Chef moves both Barbie AND Elise to the Blue team and moves Robin back to the Red. Even though the teams would only last for 1 more service, I honestly feel this change would've greatly benefitted the season.

Barbie would still most likely go home next, and the elimination order would practically remain the same (with a new winner of course) but it would give the blue team a chance to handle Barbie Elise and it would keep the entertainment until Black jackets, because let's be honest after Barbie leaves its a slugfest. The red team literally gets wiped out, and then somehow Michelle wins despite showing 0 leadership skills all season.
