Hey lovely people, I am fully dependant on physical acitivity to distress and be less anxious. I used to do f45 which I was super grateful for and then I started doing long walks too and fell in love with it ! Got up go 22 km about 2 months ago and then woke up in the middle of the night with unbearable pain in my right foot. Turned out to be sesamoiditis, inflammation of the sesamoid bones. I was told it needs about 6 months if not more to fully heal. I am back at the gym now but barely exercising and avoiding any weight on foot as I don't want to irritate it or delay the recovery. I want to ask about the light at the end of this tunnel ? Would I be able to go back to intense training/ f45? Would I be able to go back to long walks? Or is this gona be with me forever to be careful for. Anyone on the other side can give me some hope !
