Hey guys, new-ish to the group and have a question. From other posts I've seen people say that they consider and chart a period as when there needs to be coverage to stop the bleeding where as spotting doesn't actually hit the underwear but just tinged red when you wipe, which makes sense. My question is, would you consider it going from spotting to a period if it's still not hitting underwear, but it is a little bit darker than "tinged" but not full on red blood, and occasionally there may be a teeny tiny clotting action going on, but only when wiping? It's like half way between spotting and a period and idk if I should consider this a "heavy spotting" or the beginning part where it's "light period"?? I do think I'm going to be starting my period soon and this is the lead up to it, but idk if I should consider this CD1 or just spotting? What are your thoughts and how should I chart this? Also, I haven't had a period since mid January because I stopped HBC (mid/early feb) so my shit is all whacky, which might make my question null in void because of hormones still messing with my cycle, but still looking for advice on how to chart and also just to see what your methods consider spotting VS period. Thanks in advance
