How to verify the ethical part?

I recently started seeing a man who was very upfront about the fact that he was married and in an ENM relationship. During our initial conversations he’s answered all of my questions without hesitation. It’s my first time dating anyone in an ENM relationship, and he’s done a great job putting me at ease.
One question I have is, is there any way for me to verify that his non-monogamy is in fact ethical? I haven’t met, and don’t really want to meet, his wife, but I also don’t want to help him screw around on her.
