My wife (F23) and I (F22) started doing ENM about a month ago. I believed we would both be dating short term, however she has been talking seriously with a new partner we’ll call June (F33). I have communicated that I do am not comfortable with what how her relationship with June is progressing. My wife is on a sports team than June is part of - where they both spend 2-3 times a week practicing, playing, or drinking at bars or house parties after the games. They spend the night together about twice a week. I barely see my wife at home anymore.

I am the one who suggested we try this, and we both did extensive research. We started about a month ago. I have had multiple one night stands, and this is my wife’s first and only partner.

I don’t think that ENM is for me. This is causing me a lot of psychological pain and stress.

How do I deal with having a partner who wants to be ENM and I don’t? How can I better communicate to my wife that this isn’t going to work with our marriage? Is our relationship no longer salvageable because I want to go back to monogamy? We dated and married monogamous but now she claims this is who she is and that she can’t change. I am lost, and scared.
