Hello, newbie here! I’m curious to know how other women go about meeting people.

I’ve seen so many posts here where the man in the couple is struggling to find other partners while the woman is more successful. For us it’s the other way round. My husband (m37) is extremely confident and I’m (f34) extremely shy. It’s resulted in a very one-sided situation. He’s had quite a few partners during our 15-year relationship, ranging from one-night stands to more long term arrangements. Apart from a couple of times we visited swingers clubs together when we were very young, I’ve not been with anyone else during the relationship.

I imagine as a woman looking for sex on a dating app I would be overwhelmed (and probably attract a lot of weirdos). My lifestyle doesn’t really lead to me meeting people organically, for sex or otherwise (work long hours from home, don’t live close enough to my friends to go out socialising regularly). And the idea of turning up at some kind of ENM meet-up event is far too terrifying!

Any advice would be appreciated.
