As the title says, I’m brand new to this. I’ve been seeing someone for about 4 months now and it’s been going incredibly well, but we haven’t made anything official just yet. We’re both in agreement that an ENM relationship would be worth exploring as we continue going out, but there’s a tiny part of me that’s a little scared simply because it’s new and I’ve only ever been in monogamous relationships. I’ve had the feeling for a while that I wanted to try ENM because I’m bi and have never really been able to explore my sexuality in the 10 years that I’ve been out, and I want both of us to be able to explore our sexualities together. He’s already reassured me that it probably won’t happen very often at all and that he wants us to be each other’s primary partners, which is something that I also want. Have any of you had reservations like this before and everything turned out to be ok? Not ok?
