Meeting kids
Post Body

I (F) have been seeing a secondary partner (M) for almost a year now (dates averaging once to twice a month). I am married and nesting and the relationship with my primary partner (also M) is as good as ever. We have children together, young (<6y).

This is my first long term secondary partner and discussion was brought up regarding progressing our relationship - more intentionality, meeting friends, etc.

I was wondering when/how/if ever other people have their secondaries meet their children. And I'm not talking about like he spends the night and is suddenly present at breakfast or anything, (and at this point would only be introduced as "friend"). At what point is this "milestone" comfortable for you and what things do you consider before this happens?

Thanks for your insights
