My partner and I entered into and ENM relationship after I discovered he had been cheating. I have always been open to the idea of an ENM relationship but he never seemed interested until I found out he was cheating while we were “monogamous”. Fast forward to now and he still struggles with open communication and being honest. One of the expectations thy we set was communicating to eachother before meeting up with anyone for dates, etc. He has broken my trust so many times I am wondering if I am setting my expectations for open communication to high? Is this a reasonable ask? I ended the relationship tonight but feel sick knowing I could possibly be losing the love of my life.
