My partner and I have both been reading our way through “The Ethical Slut” which has made communication around opening things up a lot simpler. We are being patient and having long intimate discussions that in the past would have maybe caused disagreement or unsettled us.

I truly feel much more free being able to share this longing for more love and relationships with her. It feels good to get the truth out in the air rather than withholding my feelings.

We are moving slow, and we are two kids from relatively religious families so breaking down some of our expectations of marriage and love will take communication and care. But I feel like we are headed in such a healthy direction and we haven’t even truly opened our relationship up!

It’s Friday and I’m feeling full of happiness and love, and wanted to send some of it out towards anyone else who is choosing to pursue true happiness in their life.
