Is monogamy inherently immortal?
Post Body

I hope this is okay to ask in this group. My backstory is that I’ve only ever been in monogamous relationships, and have only had examples of other monogamous relationships around me until the recent ENM boom that’s happened in the last few years. I’m currently finding myself in a situation where I’m casually seeing someone who’s poly and I’m trying really hard to be open to this dynamic but find myself very stressed. I have history of a lot of childhood trauma and parental trauma, and relationships/trust are really tough for me. Still, I don’t want to resort to the easier mode (monogamy) if it’s inherently unethical- a thought that has only come to me recently.

I guess my question is really subjective and I could provide a lot more details about my thoughts but I just wanted to hear a range of what others think about this question.
