Does an ENM come from either, or both, of the participants having aspect(s) of:

1. a Male overreliance/admiration of their mother (i.e. always seeking out the concepts of their mother which is never met and not achievable in one woman so they keep adding to their life), and/or

2. a Female overreliance/admiration of their father (i.e. always seeking out the concepts of their father which is never met and not achievable in one man so they keep adding to their life)

I am trying to better understand because I really like someone who is only seeing me in a Poly way... and I wonder if it is because she has some unrealistic understanding of what one man can be or something I am missing from the above...
