Married and miserable, in a verbally and emotionally abusive relationship. Years of a dead bedroom at this point. I do plan on leaving but kids and finances make it difficult. But anyhow, I've felt numb for far too long. Going through the motions each day, I've been mentally checked out for years. Never imagined the loneliness I'd feel, so here I am. So I'm looking for a sympathetic soul to connect with. Help me feel alive again.
I'm college educated, have my fair share of hobbies and interests. I love movies but rarely set aside enough time to watch them. I adore animals, dogs in particular. I also enjoy nature. More of a mountains and lakes person than the beach, but the beach isn't awful lol. I'm awful at talking about myself for the purposes of these posts but am an open book. I'm really looking for a connection more than anything. I need more than just the physical. I need mental and emotional connections as well.
