I had my credit pulled by TransUnion smart move and it said my credit is at a 489 due to too many inquiries, recency of balance over limit on a bank card account not enough available credit and average balance of auto accounts is too high.
I have 21 inquiries I read somewhere that they only take into account the ones from 12 months ago. If so then I have 19 reflecting latest one was in July so that will fall off before I'm pulling my credit again.
As for the balance over limit that was just because of a fee on my credit card that I took care of. I have the Navy Fed cc and a Credit One credit card both are sitting around $470-490 out of 500 and I plan on paying those down to 10%. Which I think will help with not having enough available credit.
For the auto accounts I have a 2020 Toyota Camry that my dad had me cosign on that has a balance of 30k.
I have one closed account which was a credit card that I have 5 30 day late notices on and there's nothing I can currently do about that, that I'm aware of at least.
Any advice that will get my credit score up enough to get cleared for a VA loan for a 2-3 bed home in North Indiana would be amazing. If y'all need more information just ask and I will either respond with it or if it's a FAQ I'll just edit the post if I can. Thank you.
