Closing credit cards question
Post Body

I have some credit cards that are 3-5 years old. Got them when my credit was jacked up. Low limits like 600-1500. I'm in the 700s now and all zero balances.

My chapter 13 bankruptcy will drop off my record 9/29/24.

I have 4 cards I want to cancel.

I have discover and capital 1 now both with 6k limits and also other various store cards:

Lowe's 17k Discount tire 3.5k Home depot 9k

All zero balances

I just hate having these cards and want them gone. They served their purpose. Will it hurt my credit score to close them? I don't mind a 5-9 points swing but don't want it going down like 20 points.
