Credit drop?

Basically I paid off all my credit cards and my score dropped 40 points. How can I bounce back quickly? I thought I was doing the responsible thing and now my credit dropped a shit ton. It’s only reporting on TransUnion and not on Equifax yet… but still. Worry-some. Anyone know why it dropped so much and how I can bounce back ASAP. I have plans of buying a car soon.
