Back in the day, when my credit score was in the low 500s, I opened two Credit One credit cards.
My credit score is now around 800 and I have much better cards to choose from, however, I've kept these open as I've heard it's bad to close credit accounts.
I'm wondering if I should close these accounts because one of them charges me 9 dollars per month as part of a 96-ish dollar annual fee, and the other around 40 per year.
I never use these cards and their credit limits are 800 and 1200 dollars. I feel like I'm just paying money for no reason except not to impact my hard-earned credit score.
Any advice would be appreciated
Edit: changed balance to credit limit
