Are cougars less sensitive about a potential partner having health issues?
Post Body

I'm 25 and just moved to the Austin area after graduating from Purdue. I preface with that because my dating experience at Purdue was pretty horrendous. I have a mechanical heart valve that without really getting into too much detail, uh ruined almost every first date I went on (pre-covid). It was getting to me a fair bit so I asked my mother for advice and she suggested to try dating older women. Im definitely not opposed to it but I never really considered that an older woman might be interested in me.

I do have a connective tissue disorder which has caused me to have a couple open heart surgeries and I am all better now but I have a mechanical heart valve so I tick like a clock and have a ton of surgical scars and since I haven't had the best experience because of them, I've become pretty nervous when it comes to dating. I so exercise almost every day but it's hard to put on any noticeable weight since im 6'5 and will pretty much always be lean according to the various doctors I've had over the years.
