So I've been working on rebuilding my credit for over three years now. Started with a Cap 1 & Discover secured. Both are now over 2k limits. Never ran a balance. My last derogatory was an old premier bank card that I got removed early from TU in June, that shot my score up from a low of 595 to 773 in similar time. I just got it removed from EX early this month for the jump to 821. I read it's not as easy for early removal from EQ so hopefully that should fall off on its own in Nov/Dec and all three will be set.
Super pumped, it's been a long journey, have learned a lot from this sub. I'm hoping to start with Chase & maybe Amex, as well as the Hilton Amex since I'm a team member.
Any recommendations on what to prioritize moving forward are welcome! Neither show any hard pulls in the past 12 months. My age of credit now is 3 years 3 months.
