How often should I use my credit card to build credit?

Post Body

I’m 25 and I’m at a credit score of 643 and I’m determined to build it up.

I had two collections bills and those negatively impacted my score.

I decided I would apply for my first credit card to help build credit. I applied the Apple Card and I got approved.

I have $1000 limit. And I want to keep spending with this card at a minimum. Only for gas and food. I want to stay at around 10% of my limit. only $100 a month.

I made my first purchase a week ago on sushi. I’ve already paid it off

Is this a good idea? Should I use it more? I just don’t want to get carried away with spending.
