A question about card usage and paying off in full

Post Body

Basically my question is would the following idea be a smart one

Background: Been a rather unfrugal person most of my like and my $2000 credit card has about $100 of available funds, my credit score is around 600. Looking to move out in March so I have a need to get this as good as it can get by that time.

Question: Would it be wise or helpful for me to pay off the credit card entirely, use it to the exclusion of my bank card (which would be used for paying for this credit card/things you cant a credit card for), then pay it off again as I am paid?

Would this improve my credit?
