Car loan - refinance

Hi, I cosigned a car with my dad. The car was for him and he pays for the loan. He wants to refinance the car. I really don't want to be a cosigner to the car. What will happen to my credit score if he refinances and I'm not in the new loan, will that imrpve my credit score? Since it should show that the original loan was paid off?
