So several days ago a 5 year old debt from Sprint showed up on my credit report , it seemed Jefferson Capital had bought the account a while ago…So I figured I’d dispute it (what the hell) and only a few days later it said my results are ready and that it had been removed from my credit report completely…Is this actually possible or is it normally removed ‘pending investigation’ or something ?…which doesn’t say anything like that , it just says ‘your dispute is completed and results are ready …and says results are… ‘item deleted’ ( and my score went back up to where it was before) Is it too early to ‘uncork the champagne’ lol or is it possible since Sprint merged with T-mobile that they no longer are able to verify the debt perhaps? Or is it most likely removed but will come back in 30 or so days after they submit proof ? But it DOES say ‘dispute completed’ Thanks in advance !
