I have a difficult anniversary on Boxing Day, so have tended to lay low on Xmas Day the last few years, as tend to feel quite low and don’t want to spoil anyone’s festive spirit. This year, I thought I might feel like joining my hugely dysfunctional family at least for a bit to have some nice food, but turns out they’re going around to my sister’s house and today she confirmed that I’m not invited to her house. It hurts. Another Xmas alone.
What can/will you do to make yourself feel at least a bit better? Partly hoping for support, and some ideas for making it suck a bit less than I think/fear it will.
