Do you subtract exercise calories from your consumed calories?
Post Body

Hi all, relative noob to tracking macros.

Just wondering what are peoples thoughts on subtracting calories you've burned through exercise? Even rough estimates?

What is the logic in doing it or not doing it?

Thanks 😁

Comments

I tried but I found that if I ate more calories because I had "burned" some from exercising, I'd gain weight. Which meant, at least for me, that the calories burned during exercise didn't really count. So now I only count calories that go in and have a set limit in order to lose weight.
