NSFW TMI
I'm doing the three column technique over thoughts that I had while having sex. I noticed I struggle with cognitive distortions that get in the way of my sex life. I used to have a very vibrant sex life before I had anxiety.
My thoughts were: "i can't be horny" "i'm not enjoying sex like i'm suppose to that means i'm a failing" "i cant get hard they are judging me" "i'm so awkward and weird"
I did a good job of categorizing all the negative thoughts except I don't know what cognitive distortion "I can't be horny" would be.
Would it be "all or nothing" since I'm saying I can't do it at all and I'm having no grey area?
Would it be "discounting the positive" since there have been times when I have been horny before and enjoyed sex? and maybe
or Would it be "Fortune telling" since I'm saying "I can't be horny" and that's in the future tense?
or maybe its another cognitive distortion and i dont realize it. This thought feels very self-sabotaging and i would love to move past it.
