We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make our world.

In addition to therapy, I have been working on a self-help workbook that helps with recognizing my automatic thoughts and trying to change the perception of those thoughts that trigger negative emotions/behavior. I’m 31 years old, a male, and new to CBT and struggle with self-esteem issues big time. Constant thoughts that cause a lack of self-worth and self-confidence because of past events or experiences.
Right now, I admittedly struggle with addiction to something called Kratom which binds to the opioid receptors and helps quiet those thoughts, but ultimately I know it’s unhealthy for my body and for me financially - fighting the good fight with the rest of you and hoping to come out the other side.
Good vibes to all of you.
