Shin Splints!!!

So frustrated...

This is my 4th or 5th attempt at the C25K program, and something always gets me to quit about half way through (or less), usually it’s shin splints.

This time I’ve been trying all I can/have read about. Got some compression sleeves, good (well, not horrible) running shoes and some decent insoles. So far so good! Been running Mon/Wed/Fri, and no pain, but this morning I did notice a little bit of pain in my left ankle/shin area.

On W3D1. Started my warm up, then walk and as soon as I started running I felt it. Couldn’t even finish the 2nd run cycle. Grrr!!!!

Searching this sub there are a lot of good tips, and I’m going to rest and try again next week, just needed to vent a little bit...
