What do you do during cool-downs and/or rest days?
Post Body

Hi everyone, W2D2er here! I'm wondering y'all do during the time you cool down from a run, or on the in-between-running days. Stretch? Weight training? Nothing? How do you know what works best for you at the time? Currently I'm not doing anything but I'm worried I'm setting myself up for a harder time in later weeks.

I use the free app from Zen Labs to keep track of intervals (they include a cool-downs). Other than that I'm in decent shape muscle-wise, but I'm no gym rat. My current living situation doesn't afford me access to a gym, so ideally I'd love to hear what you can do without equipment.

Thanks for the wisdom, this community is kick-ass!

Oh wow. I'm glad you're feeling better! Also congrats on training for a 10K. It never ceases to amaze me how connected systems are in the body, even when it isn't obvious. Thanks for sharing your insight! What do you do for bodyweight exercises?

Yeah that's about what I've been doing also. Except having the walk interval right before the cool down sometimes feels a bit deceptive... Like, I'm already walking, do I walk more slowly? Lol. Guess I need to walk more briskly during the walk intervals, like during the warmup, to make the cool down feel more leisurely.
