After 6 attempts at this program over the course of 5 or so years - today is the day. I ran the first 5k of my life.
Post Body

Today was my week 8, day 1. I was only supposed to run 2.75 miles but the weather was perfect outside and I was feeling really good at 2.75 miles. I said screw it and kept running until I reached the 5k mark. I feel so happy and satisfied that I was able to set a goal and reach it. I've been trying to complete a 5k through this program since my junior year of college (about 5 years ago) and for one reason or another I always dropped out around week 5-6. Not this time. I definitely have my eyes on the bridge to 10k. Going to continue doing the 5k every other day for the next few weeks and then maybe up my distance.

Any suggestions on 10k training would be great, I've heard the Zenlabs bridge to 10k application is kind of bad.
