I did W4D1 today, and it solidified something I've been noticing - my first two runs of the workout were brutal but the second two runs were easier. By the end of the second 5 minute run today, I felt like I was in the zone and could have kept going for a while.
I pretty much roll out of bed and run first thing in the morning - do I just need more warm-up time? I intentionally keep my pace slow for the first half of the workout, and I know from my tracking app that I go faster during the second half.
Just wondering if anyone else has this problem, or any advice to make the first half of the workout suck less :) Thanks!
