Last Thursday I decided to actually do something about getting fit, so started C25K on Friday (not the best day to start something new but I didn't see any reason to delay any longer) by running along a canal near my house, quiet and completely flat, perfect!
Today I finished W1D3 on schedule and have been loving it so far! I've not been particularly challenged by any of the workouts yet, but I'm still red faced and out of breath by the time I get home, so it must be doing some good! I do struggle to keep my pace down, I've always loved running fast so trying to run at a conversational pace is tricky, I regularly have to tell myself to slow down. For now it probably isn't much of an issue but I'm sure a few weeks down the line it would be so I'm trying to kick the habit sooner rather than later.
Hopefully my post will keep me accountable and I'll be here in a weeks time telling you all how W2D3 went!
