It's been slow going because I only get three days off during the week to go for a run--Sunday, Weds, and Thurs. Since it's good to have a rest day, I can't go both Weds/Thurs (instead I go for a long walk one of the days).
One funny note is that I didn't realise that Day 1 was the only day with six reps. I thought at least Day 2 was as well, so on Sunday when I was about 4 minutes of running in, and the coach is like 'halfway there!' I'm sure my face was hilarious.
By Day 3 (today), the minutes seemed to go by quickly, although they were still exhausting by the last couple sets. I tend to lose steam around #6, but I kept going and the feeling of accomplishment when I was done was awesome. Even though I only ran 8 minutes in retrospect, I still felt a bit of a runner's high during my cooldown.
Also, slapping myself gently on the wrist because today was the first day I've ever left home without my Fitbit! Boooo. So that kind of skewed my results for the week (since it didn't track) but I can still say WEEK 1, COMPLETE!
