Did my third day of four repetitions of run 3 min/walk 90 sec. Heart rate was a little lower than lately, and I think I was a little less out of breath, but I'm still getting mild shin splints. Not enough to stop me from doing this much, but enough that I feel like doing much more would be a bad idea. :\ I think I will try just a small increase next week, we'll call it W3.6. Maybe four repetitions of run 3:15/walk 1:45. Or maybe three repetitions of run 4 min/walk 2 min. That's the same amount of running I'm doing now, just in longer chunks. I may need to stick around this level for a while before I can handle W4. :\
