I guess I feel a little disappointed. My time was about 50:38. I did week 8 day 3 on Wednesday so I ran 30 minutes straight, but I'm really slow. My goal today was really just to jog the whole time, but the trail was so congested that I went too fast in the beginning trying to get around walkers and I found myself needing to walk way more often than I thought I would. Idk I'm gonna keep trying to improve, I think I just built up the event in my head thinking I'd be so "successful" whatever that means. To look on the bright side, if I had attempted this a few months ago, it would've taken me over an hour.
Edit: Thank you to all of you for your encouraging words. I'm not one to usually make such a mopey, woe-is-me post and I guess I just needed the reassurance. I do feel proud of the habit I've built and how far I've come. I have another 5k in April and I'm gonna just consider showing up a success and not put such heavy expectations on myself.
