Hello all!! I’m new to the bdsm/bondage thing in the sort of way that I’m new to initiating it myself. I’ve done some light stuff before with an ex but it was all her toys and stuff that we ever used. I don’t own anything like that. I haven’t been able to since I’ve had roommates my whole life so never fully had the total privacy to hide it.

However, I’m now living by myself and in a new relationship and I want to build up a collection for myself. Plus figured it could be some kind of a Christmas gift to myself 😂. I’m wondering what people would think are the absolute basic must haves? Just small things I can fit in a small nightstand drawer or something!

To give some context, I’m male and I’m kinda bicurious (I think?) but in a straight relationship and only been in straight situations. Also I’m mostly submissive but willing to be dominant too. Idk if that changes things I should get. I was thinking at the bare minimum getting some sort of restraint like scarves or rope or something. But idk where to go exactly and what to get.
