learning to kneel properly and for longer periods?

I have been practicing kneeling every night in an effort to get up to 10-15 minutes straight. My main problem is my lower legs start to get numb and the tops of my feet hurt. I try going on my toes but that isn't very comfortable either. Are there any resources anyone knows of that teach proper kneeling techniques and ways to build up strength?
