Do you crave pain when you’re sick?

I’ve been feeling a little under the weather recently, slightly feverish and just very tired overall (tested covid negative for now).
Apart from lying in bed most of the day, I somehow seem to crave for pain, to the point I actually feel more relaxed having clothespins to pinch my nipples when I’m lying down to get some rest.
Anyone out there ever feel similar to me? Or is this just me being very weird?
