For the first time in years, I not only have a partner but we've found we're interested exploring bondage - specifically me the top and her the bottom.

I've got one dedicated rope that we bought together, and today found a couple shorter lengths down in the "workshop" room of the townhouse that look like they're braided nylon (maybe with a core) just like the one we bought together. We're getting together again this weekend and wanting to get some more practice.

If I wanted to try to wash the rope lengths I found, would the regular washer/dryer be something that worked? Is using them just not advisable?

(If it's not a good idea to try washing those, suggestions for inexpensive cord that we could pick up and adjust into lengths of the appropriate length are really welcome.)
