It may well be what first drew you to BDSM, or you may have stumbled over it along the way, but at some point you've probably experienced that sensation of "relief" that comes with submission/domination.
Do you feel a type of "relief" when you're dominant/submissive? What do you think this "relief" is caused by for yourself? Do you find particular things strengthen this sensation?
As way of of context, I'm not talking about the "rush" you might get from adrenaline, testosterone, estrogen etc being pumped through your body from an incredible exchange (is it just me or can that rush be just as strong in a few short exchanges as it can in a full on experience?). Although, I do find that these two sensations are often connected and can absolutely happen simultaneously (I'm getting off topic). I'm thinking more of a....relief? I can't think of a better way to put it!
So I was thinking, what is this "relief" I experience? It's clear from talking to people that it's absolutely a common sensation, so what causes it? Hence the thread! :)
