Puppy play questions

I recently started getting somewhat intimate with someone who just got into puppy play. I have no experience in this field/ am newish to bdsm stuff in general.
What are some rules I could establish for them (they realized they can’t be a bad pup without breaking rules). What would recommend as punishments/ actions to take from said rules being broken?
Any other general advice or suggestions to try would also be appreciated!
