Hello Everyone!
To provide a little context, I'm (F20) looking to connect with like-minded individuals as I begin exploring a career in NSFW content creation. It's been a bit challenging, especially since I've recently moved out on my own, with my parents living further away now. This has allowed me to explore more of myself, but I haven't yet found significant success and currently find myself in a more domestic role, which I am grateful for.
That being said, I've been active in a few chat rooms here on Reddit but haven't had much luck finding intellectually stimulating conversations. I’m hoping to connect with individuals who share interests in BDSM, kinks, and fetishes, and ideally, I’d love to find a mentor or someone more seasoned in these areas to offer advice, guidance, or simply a deeper, meaningful connection.
I have a few questions in mind that I’d love to discuss thoughtfully, and I’m eager to engage with the community as equals. Some questions include:
1. If you were starting out in NSFW content creation, what’s the best piece of advice you’d give someone?
2. How do you manage balancing your online persona with your personal life, especially when it comes to exploring your kinks and BDSM?
3. Are there any communities or resources that have really helped you grow in the BDSM or kink world, both mentally and practically?
4. What are some common mistakes you see newbies make when they first start out, and how can I avoid them?
5. How do you go about finding a mentor or making connections with people who are more experienced in this space?
6. In your opinion, what are the most important qualities to look for in a mentor or someone to connect with in this community?
7. Self-doubt can be tough, especially when you’re trying something new like creating NSFW content or exploring fetishes. How do you personally deal with it?
8. I can be quite gullible at times, what are some red flags to look out for in others?
If you feel like I've posted in the wrong subreddit or know of one that would be more appropriate, please let me know!
And, of course, I give a wholehearted "Thank you very much" to anyone who supports and/or contributes to a meaningful discussion! <3
