What's the best way to approach a shy sub who's new to the community?

Post Body

I'm a Dom who's active in my local kink community, and I've noticed a sub has started coming to munches more frequently. She is "new" as in "new to the community" not "new to bdsm". We haven't had the chance to talk or be formally introduced yet, but we do know who each other is. From what I've seen on her Fetlife profile, we have almost identical kinks and interests, and I'm wanting to learn more about her and see if there's a connection. She's pretty quiet and seems shy, so what would be the best way to approach her? In person vs DMing on Fetlife? All of my prior subs have approached me first in some form or another, so this is not something I'm super experienced with, and I don't want to be labeled as predatory or weird.
