Post Body

Hi folks. I’m looking for insight and knowledge about how other D-types go about vetting and negotiating with potential (specifically male) subs, specifically in an online-only setting. Things that have worked for you, what hasn’t, and any advice on starting strong when meeting in person isn’t on the table.

How do you usually start things off? Do you jump in with certain questions or maybe set a task right away to get a sense of their vibe and commitment? When it comes to boundaries and limits, how do you bring up that negotiation?

I’m also curious how you gauge whether a sub is really invested in you as a person, and not just the idea of submission. Any particular signs or red flags you’ve learned to look for?
