Have you ever met an enthusiastic vanilla?

People who are very inexperienced on everything kink related, and/or mostly vanilla, but are eager to participate in "what you like", but in a way that's just awkward and not enjoyable by you?

I met this person, they say they are open to trying things, and that I can "bring my toys to try out"

But I feel like teaching them is just not gonna be something I will enjoy doing, and they keep making comments that leave me unable to decide if they are mocking me a bit for my kinks, or just pretty bad at making jokes

Of course I'm thinking that I'll have to tell them this is not gonna work, but this is easy as we just met and that was the deal, if it doesn't work we say it and that's it

But have you ever had to deal with something like this tho? What did you ended up doing?

I feel like I don't have to educate anybody on BDSM and enthusiasm doesn't make up for the fact that the situation is being pretty awkward for me
