Howdy folks,

Im a guy in my mid 30s, and while no site/app/whatever is ever a guarantee when it comes to meeting people, I met someone off of Fetlife in a local scene and despite us both being upfront that we werent seeing other people....Ive only now come to find out there WAS someone else, they're going to go with that person and I feel absolutely broken up about being so insanely deceived and lied.

Ive written about dating and relationships before so Im not an idiot or experienced....but theres NO way Id ever feel this bad unless someone GENIUNELY did some pretty deceptive/shady stuff.

Now, Ive done different things like design a spank bench (yet to build), and I've DIYd/McGyvered mirrors that can go anywhere essentially. Ive done a lot of startup/tech projects as well.

So yeah Im maybe in my feels (and yes, people are allowed to do whatever they want and make whatever choices they want), but Ive been insanely frustrated trying to find someone thats viable dating-wise, being nothing but fairly genuine/decent/funny/fit/well styled/emotionally aware/well rounded....and just seem to keep meeting people that treat me like trash or just as a distraction.

So I want to shoot for something big and wondering if trying to build something like a better Fetlife could be a viable idea to attempt?

If there WAS a better Fetlife or alternative, what would it do better or what would you want it to do or NOT do?

Tldr: Met someone from a kink scene, had some deep conversations and a lot of interest expressed and we both made clear we're not seeing someone and genuinely care about the vibe/connection than the sex. Then I find out she lead me on the entire time and there was someone else in the background-so Id like to put my time into something productive like maybe building a better Fetlife?

What would a site for kink thats 10x what Fetlife is , be better at, do better, allow better or (not allow) that would make it such animprovement?

Im aware it wont be easy/others have maybe tried, but just consider me curious here and looking for some preliminary info.
