Maintaining a safe space?
Post Body

I'm seeking advice from those that run or engage in local BDSM/kink communities. I help run an ENM community. Many folks but not all also engage in kink. We host primarily public events and meet and greets and have an active virtual presence, emphasizing community and growth, not hookups or play. We have an upcoming meet and greet that was advertised on FL as many of our public events are. Someone RSVPd that they were going that is a mutual follow but I do not know them personally. Comments and likes but no actual conversation. The event is next week. Since then, a member of the community was contacted saying that this person is a consent violator and has been banned from another dungeon already. We reached out to that dungeon for more information and were told that he was on a temporary ban and was given steps toward reconciliation and they would be banned if not followed. I believe victims. Full stop. I want to protect my community. This person's public face is one of a caring, introspective, experienced D type. He is an active member of the community. I have seen many interactions with this person and other members of the larger local kink community. I'm just not sure how to proceed. Any advice?
