How to edge better?

I’ve tried edging multiple times. When I’m given a command, I usually follow it to the dot.
However, when edging, I can edge at most thrice before I leak and ruin my orgasm. I don’t feel the orgasm but I cum and go soft.
This takes a lot of fun away when I am supposed to be edging for hours, and has caused me a certain level of punishment.
I don’t know if this is the right place to ask this question: but how do y’all get better at edging? What helps and what doesn’t?
